I am Puma Ghostwalker, a naturalist and conservationist.
I have a list of goals that I would like to pursue in retirement, finishing my life by giving back.
I teach Botany,Mycology,Geology and Palentology as a volunteer. In saying this I should mention that I also teach survival training with wild foods and Bee Keeping. Bee keeping is now legal in New York City!
As I set out to hike the Appalachian Trail in 2011 ( a much needed break from twenty years in the city ) I made thedecision to do it for charity. So starting in March 2011, I will begin my journey for the March of Dimes and a few other oganizations that I support and believe in, please see below!
My goal and message is, "We still need to give back." Although it's a bad economy and we suffer so in it, many more suffer pain that we could never know...
I'm not trying to save the world, I'm just trying tohelp. Together we can do it!
